Data Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Data Analyst for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. Candidate must have strong expertise in Data Quality and Data Governance with hands‑on experience implementing and monitoring DQ controls.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Implement, monitor, and document Data Quality (DQ) controls in alignment with Product Owner requirements.

• Develop and publish DQ scorecards for key datasets to drive visibility into data health.

• Analyze data definitions, relationships, domain values, and business rules to ensure accurate data interpretation.

• Troubleshoot data quality issues and collaborate with data providers to drive fixes and preventive measures.

• Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure technical solutions meet business DQ requirements.

• Produce clear reporting, dashboards, and communication of DQ alerts to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, and SQL‑driven data analysis.

• Must have strong hands‑on experience implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Data Quality (DQ) controls across enterprise datasets.

• Must be proficient with DQ platforms such as Collibra, relational databases, data modeling, and strong SQL query skills to support DQ analysis and reporting.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
