Elementary Classroom Teacher (Grades K–4)

Saint Gregory’s School, located in Loudonville, NY, is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Elementary Classroom Teacher to join our faculty. As a Pre-K through Grade 8 school, we are committed to educating the whole child through strong academics, character development, and a nurturing, faith-filled community.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with young learners and creates a warm, structured classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a positive, organized, and faith-centered classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and a love of learning
• Teach core subjects including reading, writing, mathematics, and social studies using engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons
• Plan and implement lessons that support a range of learning styles and abilities, including differentiated and small-group instruction
• Integrate critical thinking, creativity, and hands-on learning opportunities into daily instruction
• Monitor and assess student progress through a variety of methods and provide timely, meaningful feedback
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with families regarding student progress, classroom expectations, and school activities
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administration to support student success and strengthen the overall program
• Participate actively in school life, including meetings, events, and community-building activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• New York State teaching certification (or eligibility) preferred
• Teaching experience at the elementary level preferred
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
• A collaborative, flexible, and student-centered approach to teaching

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
