Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician

We are looking for a dedicated Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician to join our clinical and fabrication team in Dunkirk, NY. This full-time opportunity focuses on hands-on work creating, maintaining, and fine-tuning custom devices that improve patient mobility and overall quality of life. Ideal candidates are precise, detail-oriented, and enjoy collaborating closely with clinicians in a patient-centered environment. The role is based in Dunkirk, offering a supportive setting for professional growth in orthotic and prosthetic care.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, adjust, and finish orthotic and prosthetic devices following clinician specifications.
• Support clinicians during fittings, device setup, and patient adjustments.
• Conduct routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and patient devices.
• Keep lab and workspaces organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
• Track work orders, production schedules, and documentation accurately.
• Follow all safety protocols and uphold high-quality fabrication standards.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in orthotics, prosthetics, or technical device fabrication preferred.
• Strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and precision in work.
• Physical stamina for lifting materials and standing for extended periods.
• Openness to learning and applying new fabrication techniques.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
