Sun River Heath is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Facilities Worker to support our Wappingers location.
Under general supervision uses limited practice and judgement to execute a variety of building and maintenance tasks; operate hand and power tools.
Job Competencies:

»Respond timely to all troubleshoot and repair facility, grounds, and equipment requests for assigned regions as directed by the Director of Support Services

»Perform highly diversified tasks to inspect, testing, maintain, install and repair facilities and its equipment

»Perform mechanic expertise including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of equipment

»Coverage of after-hours emergencies.

»Perform basic rough carpentry and plumbing functions.

»Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment and site facilities

»Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions

»Responsible for fleet vehicle maintenance.

»Acts as the warden during SRH codes.

»Repairs and maintains in conformity with sketches, diagrams, manufacturers specifications, departmental procedures and standards

»Repairs and replaces defective parts of the physical structure utilizing hand tools, power tools, ladders, electrical drills, grinders, power snakes and electrical meters

»Comply with all infection control, safety, and OSHA standards and maintain cleans and order work areas, including keeping tools, equipment, and mechanical rooms in safe, clean, and organized working condition

»Responsible for assisting in ordering supplies and materials in relations to repairs or preventive maintenance in conformity with departmental procedures
Licenses and Certifications: Driver's License Required

Hourly Range: $16.75-$18.25/hour
