Epic Implementation Specialist
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Implementation Specialist to support the design, build, and deployment of key clinical applications within a large healthcare environment. This role focuses on implementing complex clinical workflows, partnering with operational stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of system enhancements and major projects. Responsibilities:
- Lead and support full-cycle implementation activities, including analysis, design, build, testing, and go-live support
- Gather and translate business and clinical requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Collaborate with project teams, operational leaders, and technical staff to define workflows and system functionality
- Support interface, reporting, and integration activities as required
- Facilitate meetings, document changes, manage requirements, and support testing and deployment cycles
- Provide end-user support and assist with issue resolution and optimization requests
- Contribute to training, mentoring, and process-improvement initiatives across the team
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Current Epic certification in applicable modules (Cupid required, others beneficial)
- 5+ years of experience with Epic implementations in a healthcare setting
- Experience supporting clinical workflows, including procedure-based or invasive workflows
- Knowledge of structured documentation tools, forms, or reporting frameworks
- Familiarity with system integrations and data exchanges
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
