Sales Business Development
: About Advan:
Advan is a rapidly growing startup, focusing on mobility analytics. Advan's cutting edge technology, first mover advantage, unique data analytics and talented team have helped it secure many of the most sought-after clients in the Asset Management, Hedge Fund, Real Estate, Private Equity and Corporate sectors. The sales prospects for Advan's location data are vast and potentially endless. We have only begun to identify sales channels outside of Finance.
SUMMARY:Advan is looking for an experienced, talented and ambitious consultative sales professional who will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from cold prospecting, demoing and closing its trifecta of products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Manage and upsell a generous VIP accounts that you will be assigned and build upon
- Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop new target accounts from a plethora of lead-generation activities
- Engage with prospects via phone by making outbound calls. Support this effort with emails and social media networks.
- Become an expert in Advan's products, industry trends, and data feeds.
- We are an in-office company located 2 blocks from Grand Central Station, in NYC. This is not a remote work opportunity.
- BA/BS in any major
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in data or analytics sales role
- Experience working with Excel, PowerPoint and sales tracking software
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively across projects and accounts
- Ability to learn fast, work independently, and be a team player with a positive attitude. Good communication is key.
- Ability to work in a start-up environment with constant growth related challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to "work the phones"
- Experience in Fintech and Alternative Data and/or Commercial Real Estate are a major plus.

Compensation: $100k - $250k, including generous base and sales commissions, depending on experience. 100% health insurance coverage.
