Job Summary:

Vantage Medical Associates is seeking a dependable and experienced Per Diem Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to support our high-performing imaging team. This role provides coverage for scheduled outpatient procedures. Flexibility is essential, as coverage needs may vary day to day. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in performing a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
• Operate and maintain C-arm and ultrasound.
• Prepare procedure rooms, maintain sterile technique, and support patient positioning and comfort.
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, equipment use, and supply inventory.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate readiness to step in with minimal notice and adapt to a variety of case types and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certification: ARRT (R) required; ARRT (VI) preferred or must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Licensure: Valid state license as required.
• Experience: At least 2 years of radiology experience required; prior IR or cath lab experience required.
• Certifications: Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Position Requirements:

• Flexibility is required—must be available for variable shifts including weekdays and evenings, as needed.
