As a new Contract Assistant Instructor at Zushi Self Defense, you can expect a dynamic and engaging daily routine. Your day will typically begin at 12 PM, where you'll prepare for classes by reviewing lesson plans and setting up the training space. You will assist lead instructors in delivering high-energy Karate sessions, ensuring that students grasp techniques while fostering a supportive environment.

Your responsibilities will also include providing feedback to students, helping them build confidence and mastery of their skills. Engage with participants by answering their questions and encouraging their progress. Collaboration with the team will be essential, as you'll share insights and strategies to enhance class effectiveness.

Each day wraps up around 5 PM, giving you an opportunity to reflect on the training sessions and contribute ideas for future classes. Prepare for an exhilarating experience filled with learning and growth alongside budding martial artists!

To excel as a Contract Assistant Instructor at Zushi Self Defense, a strong foundation in Karate and martial arts is essential. Your expertise in Kung Fu and all things martial arts will enable you to effectively demonstrate techniques and inspire students of all levels. In addition to your combat skills, it's imperative to possess excellent communication abilities to convey instructions clearly and empathetically.

Flexibility and adaptability are crucial as you navigate various class dynamics, ensuring that each student feels supported throughout their learning journey. Being a problem solver will aid you in addressing challenges that may arise during training, allowing you to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Familiarity with tools and resources related to martial arts will enhance your teaching effectiveness, making each session engaging and impactful.
