Team Legal Secretary
As the Team Legal Secretary for this nationally recognized law firm, you’ll play a key role in supporting a high-performing group of litigation attorneys in a fast-paced, client-driven practice. This collaborative and well-established team values detail, discretion, and proactive communication — so if you’re someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys helping things run smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the right next step for you. The ideal candidate brings at least four years of litigation support experience in a law firm and has a confident grasp of local court rules and e-filing protocols. If you’re excited about contributing to high-level casework with a hybrid schedule, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, edit, and finalize legal litigation documents, ensuring formatting and filing compliance.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, handling logistics, itineraries, and expense report follow-up.
- Manage attorney calendars, coordinate internal and client-facing meetings, and ensure materials are ready in advance.
- Submit time entries and billing information, monitor deadlines, and liaise with various departments for billing and collections follow-up.
- Support new client onboarding, including conflict checks, research and new client procedures.
- Collaborate with secretarial and administrative teams to keep workflows efficient and support firm-wide events when needed.
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
- A supportive, collegial culture.
- Competitive benefits include health, dental and vision plans, 401(k) matching, and ongoing professional development.
- Hybrid work environment with three days in-office per week.
What We’re Looking For:
- Litigation savvy. A minimum of three to five years of legal administrative support in a litigation practice group; you have hands-on experience preparing pleadings, managing e-filings, and tracking deadlines under pressure.
- Team player. You enjoy working with others and know how to navigate the support structure of a large firm.
- Highly organized. You’re comfortable juggling multiple calendars, attorneys, and tasks with sharp attention to detail.
- Adaptable. You’re proactive in responding to client needs and enjoy being a dependable resource for your attorneys.
- Tech-confident. You are fluent in MS Office and learn new systems quickly.
