Automotive Diesel Truck Technician / Mec
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 - 5 YEARS experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge base, proficiency with hand tools and power tools, and the ability to work on a variety of machinery, including trucks, excavators, and equipment. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of safety and performance.
Duties
- MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS TO BRING TO SHOP TO WORK!!! NO EXCEPTIONS !!!!!!!!
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, including ISUZU , HINO and other brands.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Repair or replace components including transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, shocks & struts, and HVAC systems.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake repair, alignment, tire service, and assembly.
- Interpret schematics to assist in the repair of electrical systems and components.
- Fabricate parts as needed using welding techniques and other fabrication methods.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or service technician is required; ISUZU , HINO or any dealership experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in working with heavy equipment operation and industrial equipment is essential.
- EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
- EXPERIENCE INSTALLING AFTERMARKET CAMERA SYSTEMS /ACESSORIES
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in Truck and automotive repair is necessary.
- Experience with electrical systems is preferred; soldering skills are a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- BILINGUAL PREFERRED / CDL PREFERRED / EXPERIENCED TECHNICIANS ONLY

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
