Events Assistant
VPH is looking to expand our private events team as our hospitality group grows. In this role, you’ll report directly to the Events Director, fielding first-round event inquiries and assisting with client correspondence and schedule management.
Overview
- Part-time (20-25 hours per week)
- Assist Events Director with managing incoming event inquiries and outgoing proposals.
- Onsite event coordination assistance (serving as client’s onsite point-of-contact, managing guest counts/wristbands, communicating contract details with staff)
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven organizational skills and ability to work calmly under pressure
- Basic knowledge of nightlife and service industry; experience working events is a plus
- Experience using TripleSeat and Google Workspace
- Remote Monday, in office for all staff meetings Wednesday, hybrid schedule remainder of week. Hours can vary/be semi-flexible.
- On-site presence required during certain activations and events, some weekends and nights required
