Business Development Director (IT Services) (Town of Islip)

Summary

  • This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership within the IT services sector, capable of driving significant revenue growth and managing high-value portfolios.
  • Sole contributor role
  • Attractive remuneration package with commission.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, business unit leaders, and senior management, to enhance visibility and foster collaboration.
  • Develop and implement annual sales plans that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive management to identify and capitalize on internal and external opportunities.
  • Define and execute strategies that support the company's vision and leadership.
  • Ensure that communications are coordinated and support sales plan objectives.
  • Prioritize and drive sales strategies across multiple teams and phases to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement and manage multiple channel selling strategies, recommending improvements based on market research and competitor analysis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years in selling IT services in Singapore.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of USD 30 million and above.
  • Proven track record in securing single large deals (Total Contract Value) of USD 20 million and above.
  • Experience working for large IT services companies.
  • Ability to determine gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and results.
  • Proficiency in establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas and projecting expected sales volumes.
  • Capability to maintain sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply and demand.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Ability to contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results; however, this is an individual contributor role aimed at achieving personal sales targets.
  • Willingness to undertake 50-60% business travel to Asia-Pacific countries.
