Pay Range:

• Travel Rate: $3,700 – $3,800/week gross (blended, includes stipends)
• Local Rate: $80–$85/hour (fully taxable)
• (Based on experience, location, and schedule)

Job Type: 13-week contract (with potential extension)
Shift: Day Shift – 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator to support Maternal Child Health (MCH) services across multiple inpatient units. This role requires strong clinical expertise, particularly in Labor & Delivery , along with the ability to lead and support staff education initiatives.

The educator will provide coverage across Labor & Delivery (L&D), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Mother-Baby Unit (MBU), and Pediatrics , ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical competency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical coverage and support across MCH units (L&D, NICU, MBU, Pediatrics)
• Deliver high-quality patient care with a focus on Labor & Delivery
• Lead and support staff education initiatives in L&D, NICU, and postpartum care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards, policies, and best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN License
• BLS (AHA) Certification
• Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg experience
• Strong clinical and educational background

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Education or related field
• Prior Nurse Educator experience
