TITLE: Cook Manager

LOCATION: Alan D. Pole Campus, Norwich, NY

REPORTS: School Lunch Manager

TERMS: Full-time, 12 months

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must meet the minimum Civil Service qualifications.

A. High School Diploma plus 2 years of college with degree in food service
administration, dietetics, nutrition, or related field, plus 1 year of full-time
experience in large scale food production, including 6 months as supervisor; or

B. High School Diploma plus 3 years full time experience in large scale food
production, including 6 months as supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES/

DUTIES:

Provide day-to-day supervision of kitchen staff in the preparation and serving of food, of
storage and care of food and supplies, of cleaning and care of the kitchen and
equipment; maintain production, receiving, inventory, purchasing, labor, and budget
records; review and approve invoices; finalize menus and ensure publication; prepare
State and Federal NSLP claims; maintain free and reduced records; assists with
production and cleaning as needed.

SALARY/BENEFITS: Starting hourly range $17, + experience.
