Position Title: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Job Type: Contract | Travel

Shift: Days (5×8)

Duration: 8-Week Assignment

Hourly Pay: $70 to $78/hr

Weekly Pay: $2,625 to $2,925/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology for an exciting Travel or Local job in Brooklyn , NY.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.

• Administer conscious sedation safely and monitor patients throughout procedures.

• Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and other necessary procedures with precision and care.

• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.

• Collaborate with physicians, radiology technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided in compliance with hospital policies.

• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery.

• Follow strict infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience required.

• Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.

• Experience with conscious sedation.

• Active New York State RN License with primary source verification.

• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.
