Job Description

The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking a full-time Hematology-Oncology Physician to join its thriving practice in the East Midwood section of Brooklyn, NY!

The physician will be joining a growing Mount Sinai practice that serves this rapidly changing, dynamic and growing neighborhood. Mount Sinai Brooklyn Hospital, located in the East Midwood section of the borough, serves patients from neighborhoods that include Midwood, Madison, Marine Park, Mill Basin, East Flatbush, Flatlands, Canarsie, Brighton Beach, and Sheepshead Bay. Candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction.

In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for Medical Oncology and be fully committed to the mission of Mount Sinai Health System. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with the world renowned, Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai's Department of Hematology/Oncology is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient and places special emphasis on providing patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
  • Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
  • Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

Compensation range from 300K to 425K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.

  • Work with a variety of specialties including primary care, cardiology, specialty care, women's health services (OB/GYN), endocrinology and more
  • In addition to comprehensive medical care, the practices provides on-site lab and imaging services
  • Excellent primary care referral base with an established patient panel on day one
