Motor Vehicle Operator - 3314

The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Daily transport of interoffice and postal mail, including pickups at local post offices and DOH mailrooms, deliveries to 7 Capital area DOH locations and pickups at the OGS Distribution Center. Vehicle maintenance such as battery and tire pressure checks; coordinate oil changes and other regular servicing; car washes; coordination of vehicle repairs, new tire installation, etc. when needed at local servicing stations. Removal of surplus equipment and furniture from Capital area DOH locations. Sit-to-stand desk assembly, light repairs to cubicles, white board hanging, etc. Annual transport of displays and other items to NYS Fair; occasional transport of various items to DOH locations in other parts of NYS. :

The minimum qualifications required for this vacancy. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must possess a New York State Driver’s License appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated. Candidates may be required to possess a CDL Class A, B, C or General Class D license
