Elwood Staffing is urgently hiring Machining Operators to support production at the Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant (JEP)! These are highly sought-after contingent opportunities working onsite at one of the most respected engine manufacturing facilities in the industry.

Machine Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available

• Operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment
• Load and unload parts and monitor machine cycles
• Perform quality checks using gauges and measuring tools
• Document production and inspection results
• Follow safety, quality, and standard work procedures

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• Machining experience preferred
• Ability to read work instructions and follow specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and team-focused mindset
• Ability to stand, lift, and work in an industrial environment
• Steel Toe Boots
• 18yr or older
• Lift 35 lbs

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
