Senior Designer ( Hybrid, NYC)

Job DescriptionOur client, a global financial services company, is seeking a Senior Designer to join their in-house creative team. The ideal candidate can take ownership of design projects from concept to execution across a variety of mediums. This role requires a strong aesthetic sensibility, an ability to translate complex ideas into visually compelling design, and the versatility to work across both digital and physical touchpoints.This role is 40 hrs / week for 3 months, likely to extend. Responsibilities:- Lead concepting and design execution for a variety of formats: social, web, events, brand campaigns, web, print, merchandise, etc. - Develop and maintain brand systems and visual identities across multiple platforms- Handle creative campaigns for internal and external facing audiences from end to end, starting with strategy, pushing the boundaries with innovative and fresh ideas- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure design aligns with existing brand guidelines as well as business goals- Ensure design quality, accuracy, and consistency across all deliverablesRequirements:- At least 5 years of professional design experience, ideally in a creative or marketing agency environment- Financial services experience is a plus but not required- Strong portfolio with a clean, simple aesthetic that showcases your ability to tell a story using color, type and visuals with examples of your campaign work- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and After Effects, Premiere or similar motion platform- Familiarity with Figma or Sketch a plus- Excellent typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams - Strong written and verbal communication skills and thrive in an on-site, collaborative team settingIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.
