Overview:
The Project Manager/Estimator or Senior Project Manger/Estimator will be responsible to construct commercial/medical/educational buildings from pre-construction through close-outs in Western New York based out of our Rochester, New York.

The overall project planning and scheduling to deliver a quality project safely, on-time and within budget is the express responsibility of the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager. Extensive personal contact with owners, architects, and employees in an honest and professional manner is expected.

Desired Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

· A minimum of 5 years’ experience estimating and managing the general trades work of commercial, industrial, and/or educational on projects valued $5-$20 million.

· Computer literate and a working knowledge of Microsoft productivity products, Sage Timberline Estimating and Project Management, P6 and/or MSProject Scheduling, and Plangrid, and/or Procore.

· Knowledgeable in OSHA compliance and with building codes, and other regulations. Must hold a 10-hour OSHA card. Other certifications needed:

• 30-hour OSHA training
• EPA Lead-Based Painting Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP)
• NYS DEC Stormwater Management

· Strong organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills. and effective listening skills.

· Must hold a valid driver’s license.

· Must be based locally and manage projects in Western New York, the surrounding counties and into the Southern Tier.

The successful candidate must demonstrate previous success in the following:

· Interpreting plan documents, including plans and specifications.

· Negotiating change requests with architects, construction managers, and clients in a professional manner to foster good-will with team members.

· Negotiating subcontracts and material pricing in a fair manner in the best interest of the project.

· Fostering a culture of safety on project sites.

· Meeting critical project deadlines and progressing projects in logical and cost-efficient manner.

· Engineering knowledge, educational and/or practical experience, to be able to analyze and creatively resolve issues as they arise in the field in a safe, timely, cost-efficient manner.
