Description The VP, Global Infrastructure & Technology Operations is responsible for end to end leadership of enterprise technology operations across applications, infrastructure, and services. This role ensures the stability, security, scalability, and modernization of the company's global technology environment while enabling business growth, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation. The VP will lead global teams spanning enterprise applications (including, but not limited to SAP, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Data/AI and retail systems), end user computing, global network infrastructure, Cloud/Data Centers, facilities technology support, enterprise security, and managed services. This leader will strengthen core technology foundations, modernize infrastructure and operating models, optimize third party partnerships, and ensure strong governance, compliance, and financial discipline across the technology estate. This position plays a critical role on the Technology Leadership team in advising business leaders on foundational technology through delivering operational excellence and modernizing our digital foundation. In addition, this position manages across multiple process areas: Global Operations, Cross Function Services, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Sustaining & Operations, Cloud Operations, and Infrastructure Strategy & Architecture. This is a true technology leadership role requiring a point of view and the ability to make proactive recommendations. This position will provide thought leadership, management and enhancement to build and scale our internal and external facing technology to support our high growth environment. This position is based in New York City and reports into the CIO. Key Roles & Responsibilities Technical Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic technological planning to achieve business goals by prioritizing technology initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technologies.
  • Establish and lead the convergence of the global & regional cross functional service management teams, based efficient Industry standards, and build an integrated high-performance team for Tech Ops within ELC.
  • Oversee the company's technology efforts including technological resources and third party providers; Plan, deploy and maintain IT Systems and Operations.
  • Responsible for the technology systems, processes, design, development, quality assurance or acquisition of resources to satisfy tech needs both internal and external in nature
  • Focus on maintaining and improving all technological issues in the company to build and enhance an E2E inter-connected technology foundation on top of which the commercial business runs smoothly; Develop & Enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices across the global footprint
  • Ensure resiliency of the tech operations organization and systems so that outages and P1's are minimized year over year
Technical Responsibilities (Continued)
  • Lead full migration to the cloud across entire eco-system
  • Lead integration of on-the-ground support for sites and centers to run optimally as business needs and expects; enable smoother support for end-users of every kind across the Company
  • Develop objectives and strategies for the implementation of innovative solutions while optimizing existing systems, applications, and information
  • Evaluate new technology; drive successful technical change management and provide thought leadership in integration technologies, tools and services
  • Work collaboratively across the IT organization to ensure all technology services needs are identified in a timely way and communicated, planned and budgeted effectively. Business Responsibilities
  • Drive the business through technology - demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, act as a trusted advisor across IT and the enterprise; influence and provide technology thought leadership.
  • Develop and oversee the IT budget ensuring proper planning and management through the fiscal year
  • Stay updated on IT trends and emerging technologies & how that impacts the prestige consumer goods industry; pro-actively advise and educate on technology opportunities or requirements needed for ELC to stay ahead
  • Ensure IT strategies and processes support enterprise-wide goals with clear business advantages; Drive and influence key stakeholder on the benefits and risks of new IT-related projects as well as proposed improvements
  • Influence and input into the design of the technology strategy while ensuring the implementation and enforcement of technology standards across the organization
  • Present reports on the company's technology status, goals and or progress
  • Maintain, grow and initiate relationships with best-in-class software vendors including cloud and platform vendors; Oversee relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Communicate effectively with the business leveraging high emotional quotient and excellent executive presence. Drive swift alignment and mobilize disparate teams by setting a common goal

Qualifications
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 15+
  • Bachelor's in computer science-related field; Advanced degree in related field, Masters/MBA preferred
  • Senior global management experience (10-20 Years) and/or directing Business, Technology operations and IT engineering teams.
  • Experience building scalable, modern and high-performance applications from scratch while also understanding how to handle integration touchpoints with traditional financial market systems
  • Experience managing IT Operations as part of a Shared Service program tracking and allocation services cost on a consumption basis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; breaks complex concepts down for non-technical audiences
  • Experience solving complex problems (with breadth and depth), designing processes, and creating decision-making and prioritization frameworks
  • Experience leading cloud migration programs with AWS, Azure, or GCP to enable global redundancy and HA.

  • Demonstrated success leading IT modernization and transformation for a technology company of comparable size with minimal disruption.
  • Experience with acquisition due diligence and integrations
  • Experienced in an environment with a heterogeneous mix of on-premise, hosted, and cloud hardware and software, with a concentration in O365, Microsoft, Dell, Cisco, etc.
  • Experience operating in a SOX controlled, compliance driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security, risk, and operational resilience.
  • Experience leading complex teams and projects, driving transformation; demonstrated skills in project and change management on organizational and interpersonal levels; experience with integrating teams across multiple business units and managing a geographically dispersed workforce
  • Ability to transform current collaboration and communication systems especially for hybrid work and global expansion.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, management, and mentoring skills
Pay Range: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $277,200.00 to $471,900.00 . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
