Radio Traffic & Production Associate
The Station of the Cross Catholic Media Network is seeking a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church to join our mission-driven team as a Radio Traffic & Production Associate for a five-month maternity leave position. This is a temporary, entry-level, full-time role with the potential to become a permanent position.
As part of our Traffic Department, you’ll receive hands-on training in programming our broadcasts using the Wide Orbit automation system . On the Production side, your responsibilities will include voicing and producing radio spots, managing live video and radio broadcasts, operating a video switcher and audio board, screening listener calls, and editing podcasts and YouTube videos.
The ideal candidate has a keen attention to detail, is a self-motivator with strong communication skills, and can manage projects and deadlines effectively. Experience or education in audio and video production, live broadcast operations, and digital editing is highly desirable.
This is more than just a media job—it’s an opportunity to use your creative and technical skills to help proclaim the fullness of the Catholic faith through radio and video. A solid understanding of Catholic teaching is essential to ensure programming reflects the teaching of the Catholic church.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Create and manage daily programming logs for the entire radio network.
· Receive training in Wide Orbit and Natural Log automation software to schedule network programming.
· Produce and engineer live radio shows, podcasts, and live video streaming.
· Collaborate with on-air hosts, coordinate guests, and screen listener calls.
· Create and edit videos for YouTube, Facebook, and Rumble.
· Produce and edit radio spots, podcasts, and show intros.
· Perform day-to-day production tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge of Catholic Church teachings is essential for show production and call screening.
· Hard-working and dependable.
· Exceptional computer skills.
· Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
· Helpful: Working knowledge of video switchers and audio mixers.
· Preferred: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Audition, Photoshop).
· Preferred: Degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications or equivalent experience.
· Willing to work extra hours (evenings and weekends) or cover alternate shifts when necessary.
· Ability to travel (infrequently); must possess a valid driver’s license.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY:
Job Type: Full-Time, On-site in Williamsville, NY (8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Subject to change)
Salary/Wage Range: $42,000–$48,000 (final offer based on experience and qualifications).

Employment with The Station of the Cross Catholic Media Network is at-will, meaning either the employee or employer may terminate the relationship at any time, for any lawful reason.
