Front Desk Receptionist - Dental Office - Bilingual in English + Spanish

Job Overview
Centro Dental Familiar is a family-owned dental office located in the heart of Jackson Heights, Queens. We’re a warm, fast-paced, and caring team that takes pride in creating a comfortable environment for our patients. We’re currently seeking an energetic, organized, and bilingual (English & Spanish) Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, loves working in a team-oriented environment, and wants to grow within the dental field. Prior dental office experience is preferred , but we are willing to train the right candidate who is friendly, dependable, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming and professional first impression
• Manage the front desk by answering multi-line phones, scheduling appointments, and confirming visits
• Assist patients with check-in and check-out, updating records, and verifying insurance information
• Perform basic medical billing tasks and support claim submissions
• Organize and maintain patient files with attention to detail and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
• Communicate effectively with patients, dental assistants, and doctors to ensure smooth office flow
• Handle patient inquiries both in person and over the phone in a calm, helpful manner
• Maintain an organized and clean front desk area and help with light administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications
✅ Fluent in English and Spanish (bilingual required)
✅ Friendly, reliable, and professional demeanor
✅ Comfortable using a computer , phone systems, and scheduling software (Dentrix experience a plus!)
✅ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
✅ Ability to multitask in a busy, team-based environment
✅ Prior dental or medical office experience preferred — but we’re happy to train the right person!

Job Details
Pay: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
Location: Jackson Heights, Queens, NY
