General Laborer for HVAC Technicians

We’re looking for career-minded, full-time General Laborer to assist out HVAC Technicians throughout our service area. There are five locations to choose from.
Job Summary:
The General Laborer for HVAC Technicians supports HVAC professionals in the field by performing various manual labor tasks related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems. The role requires physical stamina, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions closely.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist HVAC technicians with the installation and maintenance of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Carry and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Cut and assemble materials (such as ductwork, pipes, etc.) under supervision.
- Clean job sites after installation or repair work, including the removal of debris.
- Load and unload HVAC materials and equipment from trucks or storage facilities.
- Prepare work areas by setting up ladders, safety equipment, and required materials.
- Assist with wiring and basic electrical work related to HVAC systems under supervision.
- Provide general labor support as directed by the lead HVAC technician or supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in construction or a related trade is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor job sites and confined spaces.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Reliable transportation.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.

This position can serve as a starting point for a career in the HVAC industry. With additional training and experience, a general laborer may progress to a full HVAC technician role.
