The Department of Psychiatry, a department of the University of Rochester's School of Medicine and Dentistry, is recruiting a NYS licensed psychiatrist who has completed an ACGME fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry for a TAR (time as reported) position serving as educator. The faculty member will serve as a teacher/instructor within our Fellowship in Psychiatry and Law. Interest and experience in providing educational experience to residents and fellows via didactic teaching is required. We are a nationally renowned fellowship program, with 2 fellows per year on average.

Steinberg Fellowship in Psychiatry and Law is one of the original forensic psychiatry programs recognized by the ACGME. ?Over the past 30 years, we have established deep roots in this ever-growing discipline and refined our clinical and didactic curriculum to best prepare fellows for the unique work of forensic psychiatry.?

Qualifications

The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
