We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.
Join us and help shape the future of digital academic resources for libraries across the continental United States.
About the role
As a Library Sales Representative, you will manage a growing territory across the western US and help expand the reach of our digital academic products and services.
You will develop a deep understanding of library needs, build trusted partnerships, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include:
- Developing strong relationships with institutional libraries, consortia partners, and key accounts.
- Applying product knowledge, market insight, and competitive understanding to position Cambridge's offerings effectively.

You're motivated by meaningful work that supports teaching, learning, and research across the academic community.
You are proactive, adaptable, and comfortable navigating a fast‑moving market. You take ownership of your goals, manage your territory strategically, and think ahead to uncover new opportunities. You work well independently, but you also thrive as part of a supportive, collaborative team where ideas are shared and successes are celebrated.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including confidence in presenting.
- A strong customer‑first mindset and the ability to build productive, long‑term relationships.
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritise effectively, and work under deadline pressure.
