Executive/ Personal Assistant to Principal
Andrew Franz Architect, PLLC, is a small, award-winning boutique architectural and interior design studio based in New York City. The studio is currently seeking a full time Executive/Personal Assistant to the Principal with a minimum of 3-5 years’ professional experience in a casual but focused work environment. In addition to assisting the principal, the position includes general office management responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detailed-oriented, and proactive individual who can effectively balance many plates to support the Principal. It is ESSENTIAL that the candidate is a self-starter who can take ownership of the position and thrive with minimal supervision. The candidate must be a strong communicator and able to effectively communicate with both Principal and studio team. An interest in design and sense of humor to round out our office is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
-Manage the Principal’s schedule, appointments, and meetings and provide him with daily executive summary and updates
-Manage travel arrangements
-Manage the Principal’s clerical duties including ordering samples, printing, scanning, copying, mailing, research projects etc.
-Manage misc. personal administrative tasks and personal family schedule and obligations
-Manage and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations, including monitoring and ordering supplies, scheduling shipments and deliveries, and assisting with answering phones
-Manage office calendar
-Coordinate with IT consultant the management of computers, software, and printers/plotters
-Create P.O.s and assist the office Comptroller with client billing and timesheets, etc.
-Assist Architects and Interior designers with carrying out misc. tasks including ordering and purchasing architectural/ interior items Industry

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
