As the senior-most hire supporting the Managing Director, you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor and essential force in Chamberlain’s next chapter. You’ll have the rare opportunity to co-lead, influence agency direction and help evolve a growing team with a strong foundation , bold vision and appetite for expansion. For the right leader, this role is a stepping stone to future executive-level opportunities, both within Chamberlain and across our Syneos Health network.
In this pivotal role, you will:
Act as the right-hand partner to the Managing Director, playing a core role in decision-making, agency growth strategy and long-term planning.
Lead RFP responses and organic growth efforts, bringing a builder’s mindset and a persuasive, client-winning presence.
Develop and champion insight-driven communications programs infused with creativity, empathy, and behavioral science—driving measurable change for clients and society.
Leverage and unite a powerful network of subject matter experts and creative collaborators, ensuring every idea benefits from best-in-class thinking.
Represent Chamberlain externally as a senior ambassador, from prospecting and networking to presenting at industry conferences.
Operate with autonomy and ownership, bringing fresh thinking to a highly experienced, long-tenured group of colleagues (average tenure 10+ years).
Foster a culture of creativity, inclusivity, and accountability, helping to manage and mentor team members at all levels while sustaining the strong, connected agency culture Chamberlain is known for.

What you'll bring:
Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience in healthcare public relations and/or communications.
Deep expertise in branded pharmaceutical product communications and scientific storytelling.
A track record of leading or co-leading successful new business initiatives and bringing in new business through prospecting relationships
Confidence and polish in front of senior decision-makers, including C-suite executives.
A high-performance mindset, balanced with empathy and a team-first leadership approach
A desire to build something lasting — not just for clients, but for your career.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $250K to $275K. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
