As the Licensed Optician, you will help create an outstanding patient experience by providing professional optical services from frame selection through final dispensing.

- Interpret prescriptions written by Optometrists and Ophthalmologists.
- Recommend frames based on each patient’s prescription, lifestyle, and preferences.
- Educate patients on lens materials, coatings, and specialty lens options.
- Measure pupillary distance (PD), segment heights, and frame alignment.
Qualifications for This Part-Time Optician Job
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Active New York Optician License (Required)
- Previous experience working as an Optician
- Strong customer service and communication skills
