This travel assignment involves working in a fast-paced environment caring for adult patients who require additional observation. The unit is operational 24/7 with provider coverage, offering a dynamic work setting for healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Observation Unit
- Provide care to adult patients needing further observation to determine hospital admission necessity.
- Manage a fast-paced environment serving 20-27 patients per day with an average stay of 27 hours.
- Offer treatment and facilitate safe release or admission decisions for a diverse patient population.
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Observation Unit
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Two years of Med/Surg Experience
- Telemetry Required
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (AHA ONLY)
- NIHSS (Preferred)
