Psychiatrist - CPEP (New York)

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - CPEP to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is the largest hospital in Central Harlem and the only Safety Net Hospital in Northern Manhattan. Harlem Hospital is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Opportunity Details:

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program.
• Provide necessary intervention, including medications, as necessary.
• Evaluate all patients on observation level.
• Respond to all requests for psychiatric support in the management of agitated patients on any service on the Behavioral Health Units.

Qualifications

• Board Eligibility and/or Certification in General Psychiatry

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $255,900* (board eligible); $266,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $425,490** (board eligible) and $436,820** (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous years average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
