We currently have a need for an Architectural VP Deputy Business Unit Leader – Markets. This is a l eadership role reporting directly to the Senior Vice President and Division Leader for Architecture. This person will work with the Division Leader assisting in the implementation of Architecture’s overall strategic goals as well as those for each primary market: Higher Education, K-12, Healthcare, Housing & Justice/Public Safety.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, Needham, MA and Edison, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Maintains strong relationships with existing municipal and institutional clients and builds new client relationships ensuring their objectives are met and projects are executed successfully and profitably.
  • Business Development: Works with the Division Leader and Executives identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in line with the strategic goals of the business unit. Works with the Division Leader updating the business and marketing plans. Leads the technical preparation of proposals interfacing with the Marketing Team.
  • Project Management: Supports the Deputy Business Unit Leader – Operations overall management and project activities from initiation to completion, ensuring the successful delivery, budget control and design quality.
  • Leadership: Works with the Division Leader, Deputy Business Unit Leader – Operations and Executives in implementing the overall strategic direction of the division, leadership of markets and contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment. Works with other divisions and inter-department activities collaborating with HR, Finance, Marketing and IT to accomplish overall firm goals and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Architectural degree from an accredited University
  • Licensed Architect with a minimum of 25 years of experience
  • Experience in the Architectural Division’s core markets – Higher Ed, K-12, Healthcare, Housing & Justice/Public Safety
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Strong client-facing and business development skills
  • Strong project management and technical skills

- We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment.

- Compensation: Minimum: $200,000; Maximum: $230,000. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on the individual candidate's qualifications and location.

- The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
