Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 school district located in Oswego, NY. This contract position offers the chance to work with pediatric populations across varied school settings, focusing on delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services.

Responsibilities include providing direct speech therapy to students, collaborating with educators and support staff, participating in team meetings and IEP development, and maintaining detailed documentation. The district employs a caseload/workload model with paid indirect hours for administrative duties and team collaboration. Therapy spaces are designated, and convenient itinerant travel between schools is required. Training on the districts IEP system is provided to support effective service delivery.

Two PT speech therapy roles are open to cover leaves:

• One contract from September 2025 to December 2025
• One contract from November 2025 to April 2026 (anticipated duration)

Candidates must hold a valid NY state license and possess skills aligned with SLP - Clinical Fellow Year (CFY), Pediatrics, Healthcare settings, Teletherapy, and School-based therapy models. Experience within a K-12 educational environment and comfort with caseload management are highly desirable.

Key qualifications:

• NY state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience with pediatric populations in healthcare or school settings
• Competency in teletherapy and on-site therapy delivery
• Familiarity with CFY requirements and supervision processes
• Strong collaborative and communication skills

This position offers a structured interview process conducted via Zoom, with hiring decisions made within 24-48 hours post-interview. Paid travel between school sites is included.
