Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY (Hybrid: 4 days onsite)
Salary Range: $80-100K

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Position Summary
We are looking for a bilingual (Japanese/English) Sales Assistant to support business communication and sales operations. This role will handle interpretation and translation for manager meetings and client discussions, as well as create and maintain store-facing manuals and operational documentation. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable proposing solutions to operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Japanese - English interpretation for manager meetings and client/business discussions Translate documents and materials (Japanese
- English), including store-facing content
- Create, update, and maintain operational manuals and guidelines for stores
- Identify issues occurring in store operations, propose solutions, and document processes in manuals
- Support sales-related coordination and communication across internal teams and external partners as needed
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese and English (spoken and written)
- Business interpretation/translation experience
- Strong documentation skills (manual creation, process improvement, standardization)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working at a Japanese company and/or strong understanding of Japanese business culture preferred
