Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Rochester, NY, US. This travel assignment starts 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range is $2,173 to $2,261 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (D/E/N). Setting: pediatric cardiac care care for infants, children, adolescents and young adults with acquired or congenital cardiac conditions in a hospital-based pediatric cardiac care-oriented unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients with congenital or acquired cardiac conditions within a PICU/pediatric cardiac care setting.
- Monitor telemetry, vital signs, oxygenation, and hemodynamics; recognize and respond to clinical changes; document assessments and interventions.
- Administer medications and IV therapies; support post-operative and complex cardiology care; manage devices and lines as clinically indicated.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, patient care teams, and families; participate in rounds and care planning; educate families on conditions and discharge needs.
- Support safe patient care through adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and evidence-based pediatric cardiac care standards.
- Participate in on-call/callback coverage as required; maintain accurate documentation and ensure smooth care transitions between shifts.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- Minimum 2 years pediatric cardiac care experience
- Pediatric Cardiac Care experience required
- Telemetry experience
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (American Heart Association); NIHSS
- Ability to work in a rotating shift schedule and on-call as required
- Education: completion of an approved nursing program and current RN license in NY
