Landscape Maintenance Field Manager

Skyview Landscape is a highly successful landscape design, installation, and maintenance company serving the Albany market for 20 years. We specialize in the highest quality residential and commercial landscaping and grounds management services. Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for dedicated team members who want to expand their experience and grow their careers with our exceptional team and have an immediate opening for a qualified, self-sufficient Maintenance Field Manager to oversee the successful completion of ongoing landscape maintenance as well as seasonal services.

Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Field Manager has a specific book of business, crew, and equipment that they are directly responsible for. This position reports directly to the Landscape Operations Manager.

• Cares for established lawns by performing weekly mowing, seasonal cleanups, pruning, edging, weeding and, mulch installation. At times opportunities exist to help with planting of newly installed trees, shrubs, plants, and annual flowers.

• Works very closely with Operations Manager to provide exceptional work quality at each property in accordance to contract specifications

Qualifications:

• Prior proven experience in field operations such as basic maintenance techniques, bed maintenance, pruning and planting, and mowing.
• Mandatory 1+ years managing a landscaping crew
• Exceptional communication skills with both clients and colleagues
• Ability to prioritize job duties in a fast-paced environment
• Effective oral and written communication skills;
• Strong work ethic
• A valid driver’s license
