IT Program Manager
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to support enterprise-level initiatives within our IT organization. Summary: This role oversees demand intake, portfolio governance, team leadership, and delivery execution across a variety of business and technology programs. The ideal candidate brings strong management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate a dynamic and collaborative environment. The IT Program Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, guide project delivery, support end-users, and ensure operational excellence. What You'll Do:
- Lead and mentor a team supporting key IT programs and business initiatives
- Oversee demand management, project intake, prioritization, and reporting
- Support operational processes, governance, controls, and improvement efforts
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders across multiple sites
- Ensure project timelines, service levels, and customer experience standards are met
- Assist with troubleshooting, documentation, and deployment support as needed
- Manage budgets, resources, and portfolio performance
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment; occasional off-hours work and local travel required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
- PMP, Scrum Master, CISA, or Six Sigma certifications a plus
- 8-10 years of IT program or project management experience
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and customer service skills
- Background in governance, controls, budgeting, and process development
- Experience working across diverse technical and business teams
- Healthcare industry experience preferred
