Test Technician
A company in Suffolk County, NY is seeking a skilled Test Tech to join their growing production facility.In this role, you will transition products from the assembly phase to the real world by verifying that every circuit, connection, and software component functions exactly as designed. If you have a passion for hardware diagnostics and enjoy the challenge of solving complex electrical puzzles, this is the position for you.
salary: $72,800 - $76,960 per yearshift: First
work hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM
education: High School Responsibilities
- Set up and operate test equipment, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators.
- Execute functional test procedures and record data for quality assurance logs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware failures down to the component level.
- Collaborate with the assembly team to provide feedback on recurring build issues.
- Perform firmware uploads or software configurations on programmable components.
- Ensure all test equipment is calibrated and maintained according to schedule.
