Senior Accountant
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial systems. You’ll work closely with leadership, contribute to strategic decision-making, and help optimize processes that support our continued success. Essential Job Functions
- Lead monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Drive the monthly close process and deliver insightful financial reports to leadership
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and file sales tax reports and manage property tax filings
- Oversee annual business filings and ensure timely compliance
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries
- Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations to improve processes & workflows and strengthen internal control
- Support external audits and tax reviews with well-organized workpapers
- Other duties as assigned
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Attention to Detail: Precision in reconciliations, reporting, and compliance documentation
- Communication: Clear and professional interaction with internal teams and external auditors
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Problem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements
- Team Collaboration: Comfortable working independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with GAAP, tax filings, and compliance standards
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a professional services environment
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and operational excellence
The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $90,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses, and a full benefits package.
