IT Sales Representative Location Hybrid work in West Babylon, NY :

About the Role: We're looking for an energetic and self-driven IT Sales Representative to join our growing team. This part-time or contract-based position is ideal for someone who's passionate about technology, enjoys problem-solving, and is motivated by connecting people with solutions that make a real impact. You'll help generate new leads, build client relationships, and guide organizations — especially schools, nonprofits, and small businesses — toward technology services that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and qualify leads through outreach, referrals, and CRM tools.
• Meet with potential clients (virtually or in-person) to understand their IT needs and recommend appropriate services.
• Prepare and deliver customized proposals and quotes in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications.
• Follow up on leads, provide status updates, and assist in closing deals.
• Represent our mission and values professionally to clients in education and nonprofit sectors.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you enjoy talking to people and making complex topics understandable.
• Basic understanding of IT services, networking, or managed services (you'll be trained on specifics).
• Comfortable using CRM software and productivity tools (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365).
• Organized, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Access to reliable transportation for occasional client meetings.

Bonus Points:

• Experience in B2B tech or service sales.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Ubiquiti, Microsoft Intune, or IT infrastructure basics.
• Prior work with schools, nonprofits, or startups.
• Ability to write clear proposals or pitch decks.
