Building Maintenance Mechanic
Position
- Building Maintenance Mechanic
Qualifications:
- Four years of full-time, paid experience in general building maintenance, heavy construction or building trades work including but not limited to:
- Mechanical
- Electrical & HVAC systems including boilers, pumps, and compressors
- Ability to plan and complete all phases of carpentry, plumbing, rigging, and painting.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain building equipment, controls and systems.
Special Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb and work from ladders
- Must be able to raise and work on scaffolding
- NYS Driver’s license; Appropriate licensure must be maintained throughout employment
Location:
- Batavia-travel to other campuses will be required
- 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Salary:
- $40,000-$50,000
- Benefit package and NYS Pension
