Qualifications: Proven experience in inventory management, financial analysis, or a similar role. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and inventory management software. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical Requirements: This position works in a typical office setting, but may be exposed to
extreme temperatures in a warehouse setting. There may be extended periods of sitting, standing.
and/or bending; listening, talking and/or visual concentration; writing and/or computer use.
This position would normally have routine opportunities to alter physical position or change eye focus. Lifting should not normally exceed 30 pounds.
Position Summary: The Inventory Financial Specialist is responsible for managing and analyzing inventory financial data to ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
- Review product numbers and vendor/donor records ensuring accuracy.
- Assist in researching inventory discrepancies.
- Assist in researching Agency order/payment discrepancies.
- Review inventory receipts ensuring accuracy.
- Monitor flow of inventory within the Food Bank ensuring accurate tracking and processing of goods.
- Assist in review and implementation of inventory and receiving processes.
- Reconcile monthly inventory.
- Assist with physical inventory/cycle count review.
- Support month-end closing activities.
- Utilize inventory management software and financial systems to track and report inventory data.
- Collaborate closely with operations, purchasing, and finance teams.
Internal Controls: Adheres to internal reporting procedures to safeguard organizational assets and ensures accurate financial reporting.
Audit Coordination: Assists with all financial and inventory audits.
Other duties
- Works independently and collaboratively with other departments and employees in support of the mission of the Food Bank.
- Ensures a safe, secure, and legal environment.
- Maintains a clean and safe workspace.
- Follows all safety standards and procedures.
- Adheres to the Food Bank's Employee Code of Conduct.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is eligible for the Regional Food Bank work-from-home option. Flexible work arrangements may be available with prior supervisor approval; however, this is not a fully remote position, and regular on-site presence is required.
