ASSISTANT MANAGER, GLOBAL CMI

The assistant manager will support the entirety of the work of the Senior director on four categories of products (fragrance, skincare, body care, makeup), across four brands (CK, MJ, Kylie, and Philosophy), on every research project conducted by the US Global CMI team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Global CMI Assistant Manager, you are responsible for supporting every strategic and tactical CMI projects from start to finish – from administrative tasks to interactions with vendors, quality control, results synthesis and presentations creation. You will also support the senior director in the follow up of beauty trends, and liaise with the Paris CMI team.

Your main focus:

Support the execution of high-quality research projects together with the senior director:

• Liaising with internal clients on research goals, material and logistics
• Following up on fieldwork to ensure the research is conducted in accordance with the brief
• Crafting synthesis documents under the guidance of the senior director
• Organizing research presentations to internal clients and beyond when relevant

Create strategic synthesis on key transversal topics under the guidance of the senior director to:

• Connect the dots between different research projects to create new insights
• Bring clarity amongst complex data based on sell out data, ad hoc research, U&A, brand monitoring tools, trends, and category research
• Deliver immediate answers to marketing and trade questions on a day-to-day basis

Independently ensure a flawless collaboration with the Global CMI team in Paris to:

• create optimal fluidity of information between the two CMI hubs
• contribute to build a good knowledge of US consumers amongst the Paris based team based on market innovation monitoring and trends constant follow up

Manage the administrative tasks of the CMI team:

• Finance: from PO’s creation to Vendors payment, including budget consolidation
• Procurement: Vendors service comparison and listing process follow up
• Agenda management: Meetings planification with internal stakeholders and external vendors

Support the on-boarding of new marketing associates for CK, MJ, Kylie and Philosophy across different expertise and functions- marketing and others.

The team consists of a senior director working closely together with several departments such as marketing teams, Trade teams, Innovation team. All your colleagues are collaborative and supportive of your daily mission.

QUALIFICATIONS

We’d love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a concentration/ major in Beauty and/or Fashion
• A first significant experience in Insights in a Beauty company, and a first significant experience in marketing in a Beauty company
• Highly organized and focused, the candidate will need to manage multiple projects simultaneously; Being at the center of Insights Generation for the US based brands of Coty, the role implies constant interactions with all levels of seniority, including top leaders in the organization, showing top communication skills and agility

Desirable:

• Must be autonomous , decisive, and willing to be ready for constant new challenges

• Base Salary : $75,000 - $90,000

• Additional Compensation: This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on business and individual performance.
