Recognized by Fortune, Forbes, Fast Company, Inc. and Great Places to Work, Carta is shaping the future of private market infrastructure.
Together, Carta is creating the end-to-end ERP platform for private markets. Traditional ERP solutions don’t work for Private Funds. Private capital markets need a comprehensive software solution to replace outdated spreadsheets and fragmented service providers. Carta’s software for the Office of the Fund CFO does just that - it’s a new category of software to make private markets look more like public markets - a connected ERP for private capital.

The Problems You'll Solve
At Carta, our employees set out on a mission to unlock the power of equity ownership for more people in more places. We believe that the problems we solve today unlock the opportunities of tomorrow. Carta started and remains the predominant place for founders to manage the equity in their company. We’ve built tools to make it easy for startups to issue stock options to their employees, stay compliant with 409A and ASC 718, and manage the lifecycle of fundraising. In 2025, Carta is making the next evolution in our platform to build ERP for Private Capital on top of the powerful network for companies and investors on Carta.
As a Lead Product Manager, you’ll build core components of Carta’s ERP to help funds perform valuations and manage their portfolio companies. You’ll help solve problems like:
- Build a robust valuation tool for PE and Growth funds to use to power all their valuations
- Build fund workflows in an AI-first world
- Turn complex modeling tools into a delightful user experience
- Work cross functionally to integrate the different nodes of Carta’s ERP in a way that creates a differentiated experience for Carta’s customers
The Team You'll Work With
You’ll be joining our Valuations R&D team. This team is building a suite of products for PE and VC firms that help CFOs, Valuation teams and Deal teams model outcomes for their funds and manage their portfolio companies after initial investment. We are helping PE and Growth funds re-think what it means to manage their portfolio in an AI-first world. Our primary product is an end to end self-serve Valuation and Data monitoring product for PE and Growth VC firms. Our team also works to collaborate across the different pillars of Carta’s product suite to enable funds to do complex modeling about their funds and investments.

- Someone with prior experience partnering with business leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure we’re delivering both a best-in-class product and service to our customers.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment, tackling difficult challenges with creativity and persistence. You take ownership of problems and drive them to resolution.
- You excel at solving problems proactively and independently, taking ownership of initiatives from inception to delivery.
- Experience in financial services and fintech products are a plus.
