Intellectual Property Technology Licensing Attorney

Junior to Mid-level Technology and Licensing Associate

Our client is a top Am law 100 firm, seeking an associate in JD class years 2022-2023 for its Intellectual Property Tech and Licensing Group in New York. The firm is considering candidates with large law firm experience in other relevant practices, such as negotiation of commercial contracts or deal management of IP components of venture financing and/or M&A transactions, who are interested in pivoting to a transactional/licensing practice group. The salary range for this role is between $260k to $310k.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in commercial contracts drafting and negotiation and/or IP components of venture financing or M&A transactions
• Strong interest in working with startup and venture capital clients and willingness to learn about emerging technology and IP law is required.
• Technical degree is not required for this role.
• Big law experience is required.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills.
• New York bar admission required or ability to become admitted.
• Excellent academic credentials as well as strong writing skills.
• All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
