The Business Unit CFO intern is a member of the Business Area CFO team within the Finance organization. In this visible role, you will have the opportunity to support in the development of Equitable’s strategic plan, drive efforts to improve efficiency and productivity and partner with senior leaders to identify, evaluate, analyze and deliver key insights across our business units. The Business Area CFO team provides financial guidance and support to the business areas within Equitable.

Internship Description

  • Assist with financial report preparation, modeling, and analysis
  • Research and benchmarking industry data
  • Help with arranging meetings and presentations
  • Work under supervision of team leaders and other mentors
  • Assist with preparing communications, assist with presentations and related support materials


Internship Details

Dates: Nine week program starting in early June 2026

Location: New York, NY

Work Environment: Hybrid / Flexible (required to be in the office 3 days/week)

Hourly Rate: $22/hour

  • Rising College Senior (Class of 2027)
  • Business Majors with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics or related
  • General understanding of accounting, financial modeling, and reporting concepts
  • Strong desire to learn and apply new concepts
  • Ability to multi-task while continuing to ensure attention to detail
  • Excellent written/verbal communications and listening skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Power Point, Word, Excel
  • Ability to work the full duration of the 9-week program
