Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 4pm-12am

Job Description

A well-established social services organization in the Bronx is seeking a reliable and professional Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a residential setting. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term growth potential for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain a safe and structured environment while supporting both staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff during assigned shifts
• Ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently
• Monitor the safety and well-being of residents and staff
• Complete incident reports and shift documentation accurately
• Conduct shift rounds and enforce program policies/procedures
• Provide support and guidance to frontline staff
• Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution when needed
• Communicate important updates to management and incoming shifts

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
• Experience working in residential, shelter, healthcare, or social service settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations professionally
• Computer literacy and documentation skills required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Flexible schedule availability preferred
