You're a visionary who optimizes for efficiencies and never stops seeking improvements -- even small changes that can make a huge impact. You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians. With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical). In this role, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and management of the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) design process for Google's mission-critical data center portfolio. You will ensure design quality, constructability, and cost-efficiency by reviewing conceptual designs, developing global CSA design standards, and coordinating with cross-functional internal teams and external Architecture/Engineering firms. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$302,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more aboutbenefits at Google ( . **Responsibilities** + Review all Civil Structural and Architectural (CSA)-related Basis of Design (BOD) and conceptual designs for constructability, value engineering, and cost with internal teams and external partners. + Develop and implement CSA standards for Google data centers, including creating and managing Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) master specifications. + Collaborate with internal groups, Architecture, and Engineering firms to develop strategic plans for greenfield sites, including future expansion strategies. + Manage design/drafting and coordination across teams to ensure all project documents are drafted according to standards and consistently managed throughout the project life-cycle.
