Minimum Requirements: Current GTA Member

Desired Qualifications:

Commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality for all after-school review sessions.

Experience preparing students for Regents exams, tutoring, or providing targeted academic support.

Strong ability to build rapport with students and create a positive, motivating study environment.

Familiarity with Regents exam formats, question types, and review strategies.

Comfort using digital tools or review resources.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with administrators, counselors, families, and regarding student progress and needs.

Commitment to equity, high expectations, and helping all students build confidence and readiness for their Regents assessments.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Foster a positive, respectful, and motivating environment that supports students in preparing for their upcoming Regents exams.

Provide direct instructional support in assigned Regents subject area(s), including small-group review and one-on-one assistance.

Monitor student understanding and progress with key exam skills and provide targeted intervention or reteaching as needed.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, engagement, and completion of review activities or practice materials.

Ensure student safety and supervision throughout the duration of the after-school review sessions.

We are looking to offer review sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4/20-6/18.
