Blue Skies Psychological Services is a privately owned, Staten Island-based therapy practice deeply rooted in the community. We offer a tight-knit clinical team that strives to provide services for kids, teens, and adults.

We currently have an opportunity for a provider to join our team and quickly grow a caseload, which can be rare in the private practice space!

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

• Supervision Provided - Clinical supervision is provided weekly or biweekly by an experienced LMHC-D or LCSW trained in CBT, DBT, and trauma. (Supervision for Diagnostic Privilege in New York State is also available)

WHAT WE HANDLE FOR YOU

Being 1099 doesn't mean going for it alone. Here's what Blue Skies takes off your plate entirely:

• Insurance credentialing - completed on your behalf so you can start meeting with patients as soon as possible
• Billing - we handle insurance verification and billing so you can focus on what matters: your clinical work
• EHR access - full access to a HIPAA-compliant electronic health records system at no cost to you
• Clinical supervision - available to those who are still accruing hours towards full licensure, and provided by an LMHC-D or LCSW (consultation available to fully licensed clinicians as well!)

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING

• Maintain a caseload of individual therapy clients that range in age from children to adults via in-person sessions and telehealth
• Completing intakes and maintaining accurate, current documentation that meets insurance and OMH standards
• Collaborating with parents, guardians, schools, and hospitals when necessary
• Having a balance of professional autonomy in scheduling, while not working in isolation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

REQUIREMENTS

• Active NYS license (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC-LP)
• Previous clinical experience
• A private, quiet space for telehealth sessions
• Personal device (computer, tablet, etc.) and stable internet connection
• Excellent communication skills

We would like a candidate who…

• Is able to offer “prime-time” availability, such as evening and/or weekends
• Has experience working with children and teens
• Has a background in CBT, DBT, trauma-informed interventions
• Has private practice or outpatient setting experience

PAY & SCHEDULE

Pay is based on licensure type, experience, and caseload. We are currently prioritizing onboarding clinicians who can offer hours in the evenings and weekends, but clinicians are responsible for their own schedule
